Aürt is a word that perfectly expresses the “local exoticism” that inspires our cuisine. This apparently exotic untranslatable Catalan term that means to go crashing sharply into something. Short, blunt and direct. It is a little-known name and not widely used. The word dates from the 13th century and its origin is uncertain, probably pre-Roman and Indo-European, with a highly developed Celtic base. These linguistic roots resemble Artur’s origins. Aürt is a space where professionals and diners coexist and interact. Where we offer our particular gastronomic vision. The will is to be transparent through a set design according to Artur’s essential way of cooking. Both rehearsal and function will be held, in full view of everyone. We cook most dishes in the same two tables that house a total of 15 people.
